🔺 Never Gets Old. For former Gamecock women’s soccer player Sabrina D’Angelo, representing her country at the Olympics doesn’t get old. She’ll be competing for Canada for the second time, the first being in 2016 when they took home a bronze medal. As she reflects on her soccer career, she praises Shelley Smith and Jamie Smith for developing her at South Carolina. The women’s soccer tournament at the Paris Olympics will begin tomorrow.

🔺 Brought The Heat. Former Gamecock GG Jackson earned NBA 2K25 All-Summer League First Team honors! He and the Memphis Grizzlies fell to the Miami Heat in the NBA Summer League Championship. He scored 28 points and added nine rebounds in the championship matchup.

🔺 Let’s Ride. The 2024-25 equestrian schedule is here! The Gamecocks will kick off the season in Delaware, taking on Delaware State and Minnesota Crookston. The schedule also features seven non-conference opponents and home/away series with all three fellow SEC schools. The Gamecocks finished last season with a winning regular season record for the first time since 2019. The 2024-25 captains are Susannah Johnson, Carly Jenkins, Sophie Mitchell, and Haley Turner.
