🎥 TAILGATE TALKS

Tailgate Talks. Gameday in Columbia is right around the corner! Football is nearly back and Shane Beamer has big goals set out for his team this year. But before DiMarco and Garcia pick Coach's brain on the 2024 season, let's not forget these three go way back. Coach Beamer came to Columbia as an assistant the same year Pat and Stephen enrolled as freshmen at Carolina, and that gives us a whole new perspective on the glory days — and even the shenanigans — from back in the day.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Can’t Miss It. The South Carolina Department of Transportation is recognizing the 3x women’s basketball national champions with new highway signs! South Carolinians will see these signs in Columbia and at South Carolina Welcome Centers.

🔺 New Addition. South Carolina softball has added Zack Parsons as an assistant coach! He will act as a pitching coach and support in the bullpen. He spent the last four seasons at Murray State as a graduate assistant before becoming an assistant coach. The Racers recorded the four lowest ERAs in program history under Parsons.

🔺 For The Stars & Stripes. Former Gamecock All-American women’s golfer Sarah Schmelzel was named a captain’s pick for the U.S. Team in the Solheim Cup. She was picked by captain Stacy Lewis to play for the Red, White, & Blue. The 12 best U.S. LPGA players will take on the 12 best European LET players in Virginia.

🔺 Primetime With Pringle. Men’s basketball’s Nick Pringle and teammates come to you with a special report! Some of them are still getting the hang of this whole reporting thing. Take a look!
