CockTale Hour. Fresh off their training camp in Myrtle Beach, head men's soccer coach Tony Annan says his club is ready to hit the pitch this fall. Entering his fourth year leading the Gamecocks, Coach Annan sits down with Jay and Bill to share why he's optimistic about the season. The guys also continue their football roster breakdown by taking a look at the linebackers and defensive backs, just two weeks from gameday in Williams-Brice.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Sunday Dub-day. The 2024-25 athletics season has officially begun! The women’s soccer team kicked it off with a 5-1 win over Furman. Freshman Katie Shea Collins scored three goals in 30 minutes, while Catherine Barry and Kylie Cino scored the other two. Lily Render recorded two assists and Barry had one. The Gamecocks will return to the pitch on Sunday when they host the College of Charleston.

🔺 Closing In. Football season is a dozen days away, y’all! The Gamecocks held their final scrimmage on Saturday. Coach Beamer was pleased with Rocket Sanders after his first scrimmage. He discusses the quarterback competition and forming a depth chart this week. Hear Coach Beamer’s entire press conference here! 

🔺 Next Chapter. The men’s basketball non-conference schedule is finally here! South Carolina will host nine of its 13 non-con games. The Gamecocks will start the season at home against North Florida on November 4. The schedule is highlighted by the anticipated Palmetto Series against Clemson, presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery, on December 17. Click here to secure your season tickets!

🔺 Together Again. How cool is this? Over the weekend, former Gamecock teammates Jack Mahoney and Cole Messina reunited as the starting battery for the Spokane Indians! Both were selected as the 77th overall pick in consecutive MLB Drafts. The two shined together at South Carolina in 2022-23, and now they're back at it again!
