🔺 Stripe Out CLA. There’s a top-five matchup in Colonial Life Arena tonight! The second-ranked Gamecock women’s basketball team will host No. 4 Texas at 7 p.m. on ESPN2. Fans will receive a Beyond Measure Rally Towel. Odd sections are asked to wear garnet and even sections should wear white.

🔺 Earned It. Gamecock track & field’s Jathiyah Muhammad has been named the SEC Freshman of the Week! She made her collegiate indoor debut in style, claiming the Gamecock program record in the women’s pole vault when she cleared 4.35m. She ranks fourth in the NCAA this season in the event.

🔺 Double Down. South Carolina brought home two SEC swim & dive honors this week! Amy Riordan earned SEC Swimmer of the Week after winning the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard backstroke last weekend. Sophie Verzyl claimed SEC Diver of the Week honors after sweeping both springboard events against Virginia Tech.

🔺 Not Our Night. Gamecock men’s basketball fell at No. 17 Arkansas 108-74 last night. Meechie Johnson led all scorers with 29 points, adding six assists. The Gamecocks look to bounce back at Auburn on Saturday.
