Tailgate Talks: Ryan Succop - Don't tell him kickers aren't real football players! Perhaps one of the most versatile special teamers to ever come through Columbia, Ryan Succop did it all during his time as a Gamecock. The 14-year NFL veteran joins his old teammates with some wild NFL stories you'll have to hear to believe.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Tide Turns. The No. 2 women’s basketball team defeated No. 19 Alabama 76-58 last night! Joyce Edwards scored 21 points to lead the Gamecocks. Chloe Kitts recorded a double-double with 10 points and 13 rebounds. South Carolina dominated in the paint with 38 points. Dawn Staley is a perfect 23-0 against Alabama in her career. The Gamecocks will host No. 13 Oklahoma on Sunday at 3 p.m.

🔺 Back In Action. The track & field team is in Lubbock, Texas for the 2025 Corky Classic this weekend! The two-day meet will begin today at 5 p.m. The field is loaded with 10 teams from the Power 4 level. The Gamecocks started 2025 by winning 12 combined events at the Gamecock Opener.

🔺 On The Road, Again. The men’s basketball team continues their road trip tomorrow when they play at Oklahoma for the first time since 1992. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. on ESPNU. You may hear a familiar voice as former Gamecock assistant Perry Clark will be on the call!

🔺 Preseason Praise. Gamecock baseball’s Ethan Petry was named to Perfect Game’s Preseason All-SEC team! He was Perfect Game’s National Freshman of the Year in 2023 and was named a preseason second-team All-American by the publication this season. Last spring, he hit .306 with 57 runs scored, 21 homers, and 53 RBI.
