Tailgate Talks: 2024 Review. That's a wrap on our first season! Tailgate Talks kicked off in August, and what a great whirlwind it's been. As 2025 begins, Patrick DiMarco and Stephen Garcia look back at the show's inception, the incredible guests they've had so far, and look ahead to what the new year holds.

🔺 That’s A Wrap. The 2024 football season came to an end on New Year’s Eve as the No. 14 Gamecocks fell to No. 21 Illinois 21-17 in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. LaNorris Sellers threw for 260 yards and a touchdown to Joshua Simon. Oscar Adaway III rushed for 69 yards and a 36-yard touchdown in the third quarter. South Carolina finishes the season with a 9-4 overall record.

🔺 SEC Play Begins. The second-ranked women’s basketball team begins SEC play tonight! They’ll play at Missouri at 7 p.m. on the SEC Network. The Gamecocks are 11-5 in SEC openers under Coach Dawn Staley.

🔺 Coach Speak. Join us tonight at Backstreets Grill on Devine Street from 6-7 p.m. for Carolina Calls with Lamont Paris! Those at home can listen on the statewide Gamecock Radio Network or the Official South Carolina Gamecocks app.
