As the regular season started winding down, and the postseason was around the corner. Lexi Winters grew up idolizing Gamecock softball players of the early 2000s. The once star-struck bat girl became a star herself for that same hometown team. Remember last season with The Follow on Gamecocks+.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Back In The Saddle. Gamecock men’s basketball got back in the win column with an 85-76 victory over Oklahoma last night. Meechie Johnson led the Gamecocks with 20 points, while Kobe Knox added 18. Elijah Strong scored 17 points, and Miles Stute and Mike Sharavjamts each scored 10 as everyone played their part. South Carolina will play at Texas A&M on Saturday.

🔺 Raising The Bar. South Carolina softball, led by Coach Ashley Chastain Woodard, looks to build on last year’s success despite losing key players. The team has strengthened its pitching rotation with new transfers and returning players, while also adding power and speed to the lineup. With a mix of experienced and new players, the Gamecocks are focused on creating their own identity and achieving their goals for the 2026 season. South Carolina came in at No. 13 in D1 Softball’s preseason poll and No. 14 in ESPN/USA Softball’s.

🔺 Sneak Peek. South Carolina baseball will begin its spring scrimmage schedule with games on Thursday and Friday at 3:15 p.m. at Founders Park. All scrimmages are free and open to the public.
