A true Gamecock, Branden Conrad embodies what it means to "bleed Garnet & Black." A member of the USC basketball team from 2006-2009, Branden not only guarded the likes of Tre' Kelly and Devan Downey every day in practice, but also carved out a role in the lineup on his way to helping secure an SEC Eastern Division title.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Starting Strong. South Carolina men’s tennis redshirt freshman Paul Barbier Gazeu was named SEC Freshman of the Week after posting a perfect 3-0 singles record, including an upset win over No. 10 Columbia. He also contributed to a doubles victory alongside Lucas da Silva.

🔺 Road Struggles. No. 2 Gamecock women’s basketball fell to No. 16 Oklahoma in overtime, 94-82. Tessa Johnson led South Carolina with 19 points, while Raven Johnson added 16. The Gamecocks will host No. 5 Vanderbilt on Sunday at 3 p.m.

🔺 Takin’ Over Texas. Gamecock men’s basketball is back on the road this weekend. They’ll play at Texas A&M tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. on the SEC Network. The Gamecocks are coming off a win over Oklahoma, while the Aggies are coming off a win over Mississippi State.

🔺 Back On Track. South Carolina track & field is back in action this weekend! They’ll compete at the Orange & Purple Invitational at Clemson today. The meet has been condensed to a one-day meet beginning at 10 a.m.
