Matrick Belton, known to many as “Trick Williams,” is a rising star in the world of professional wrestling, but before he was a WWE champion, he was playing under the lights at Willy-B. 🔺 Down To The Wire. South Carolina men’s basketball went toe-to-toe with No. 5 Florida last night, but ultimately fell 70-69 after Gator Will Richard scored with 4.8 seconds remaining. Zachary Davis tied his career-high with 22 points in the loss. Collin Murray-Boyles recorded a career-high eight assists to go with 14 points, five rebounds, and three blocks. Morris Ugusuk pulled down a career-high six rebounds.

🔺 Diamond Days Ahead. Softball season is right around the corner, and this year begins a new era of Gamecock softball under head coach Ashley Chastain Woodard. Their goal this season is to get into the top half of the SEC, increase their influence in the league, and host a regional. Coach Chastain Woodard feels that the Gamecocks infield defense and pitching are strengths this team has. The season begins just two weeks from today when South Carolina hosts the Gamecock Invitational!

🔺 Salute Sundays. The South Carolina baseball team will honor a member of the military each home Sunday during the 2025 season! Fans who know a member of Gamecock nation that has served in the United States Armed Forces can nominate them for this recognition here. Last week, Col. Kenneth Dwyer, an Infantry Officer with the U.S. Army, spoke to the team about his journey. Click here to listen to his speech.
