📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Stage Is Set. It’s time for another top-five showdown in a sold-out CLA! The second-ranked Gamecocks will host No. 5 LSU in what has become a rivalry game. South Carolina enters the game at 18-1, with the one loss being to now top-ranked UCLA. The Tigers are 20-0, having their second-best start to a season in program history. Fans are encouraged to wear garnet, and the first 10,000 in attendance will receive an exclusive Uncommon rally towel.

🔺 Staying Home. The men’s basketball team is staying home this weekend! They’ll host No. 14 Mississippi State tomorrow at 1 p.m. in their second top-15 matchup this week. It’s Gamecock Club Appreciation Day! Hear from Coach Shane Beamer at halftime and you’ll have a chance to meet some Gamecock football players. The first 1,000 students will receive a free t-shirt and the first 300 can enjoy free pizza. Plus, one lucky student will win a free 50” TV!

🔺 Traveling North. The 20th-ranked women’s tennis team is headed to Charlottesville, Virginia for the ITA Kickoff Weekend today and tomorrow. They’ll play No. 7 Duke at 4 p.m. today. Tomorrow, they’ll take on either No. 5 Virginia or New Mexico at either 3:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. The Gamecocks are 2-0 in dual matches this season.

🔺 Kicking Off. The 16th-ranked men’s tennis team will compete at the ITA Kickoff at Florida State today and tomorrow! They’ll play No. 15 San Diego today at 2 p.m. Tomorrow, they’ll take on either UNCW or Florida State at 2 p.m. or 5 p.m. The Gamecocks enter the weekend with a 2-1 dual record.

🔺 Season Approaches. Under the new leadership of legendary head coach Paul Mainieri, South Carolina baseball has their minds set on making it back to the College World Series. Despite facing injuries and challenges with their pitching staff, the team has some strong starters and a reliable bullpen. The focus on strong defense behind the pitchers is key, and Coach Mainieri believes that the outfield has the most depth. Be sure to pack Founders Park this season!

“That’s my expectation every year. Omaha is the goal. If you’re not planning to get to Omaha, then you ought not to be playing.”

- Coach Paul Mainieri
