Tailgate Talks: Trick Williams - From the field to the ring! Matrick Belton, known to many as “Trick Williams,” is a rising star in the world of professional wrestling, but before he was a WWE champion, he was playing under the lights at Willy-B. The former Gamecock receiver talks about his time in Columbia and his rise up the wrestling ranks.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Rocky Toppled. The second-ranked women’s basketball team toppled No. 18 Tennessee 70-63 last night! Joyce Edwards scored 18 points to lead the Gamecocks. MiLaysia Fulwiley scored 11, while Te-Hina Paopao, Chloe Kitts, and Raven Johnson scored 10 each. They’ll host Auburn on Sunday at noon.

🔺 Trip To Athens. The men’s basketball team is headed to Georgia for a mid-week road trip! They’ll play the Bulldogs tonight at 7 p.m. on the SEC Network. South Carolina has won 14-of-16 in this series, dating back to 2017. The Gamecocks defeated Georgia last season on the road.

🔺 All-Stars. Nine former Gamecock football players will participate in college all-star games this week! O’Donnell Fortune, Tonka Hemingway, Kai Kroeger, Raheim Sanders, and Josh Simon will play for the East Team, while Bam Martin-Scott will play for the West Team in the East-West Shrine Bowl on Thursday. Fans can watch on the NFL Network at 8 p.m. Kyle Kennard, Demetrius Knight Jr., and T.J. Sanders will play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. on the NFL Network.
