🔺 Another One. South Carolina senior diver Sophie Verzyl earned her fifth SEC Diver of the Week honor after sweeping the 1-meter and 3-meter dives for the sixth time this year. She will defend her 3-meter title and pursue her first 1-meter title at the SEC Championships.

🔺 Triple Threat. Three Gamecocks earned SEC track & field weekly honors! Jaouad Khchina was named the Men’s Runner of the Week after garnering national honors as well. Andrew Salvodon earned Men’s Freshman of the Week after claiming two NCAA top 10 times at the Orange & Purple Invite. Zaya Akins was named Women’s Runner of the Week after winning two events at the Orange & Purple Invite. She ran an NCAA-leading time in the women’s 400m.

🔺 Trip To The Plains. The third-ranked women’s basketball team is back on the road this week! They’ll play at Auburn tonight at 9 p.m. on the SEC Network. After their trip to The Plains, they’ll travel to College Station for a Monday matchup at Texas A&M.

The Cocky Trot 5K & Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 25, starting at 9 a.m. at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. Participants will receive a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and discounted tickets to select games. Click here to register!
