A Palmetto State kid who made a name for himself in a talented defensive backfield, Jimmy Legree got his first major offer from South Carolina and never looked back. The U.S. Army Veteran takes us back through his successful career, how he fought through some difficult challenges in life, and what he’s up to now.

🔺 Palmetto Pride. Seven former Gamecocks were named South Carolina Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 Finalists! Robert Brooks, Sheldon Brown, Larry Craig, Todd Ellis, Lou Holtz, Corey Miller, and Sidney Rice have a chance to be enshrined in the SCFHOF this April. Voting is available online at scfootballhof.org. The final voting period will run through Jan. 30.

🔺 On The Road, Again. The third-ranked women’s basketball team is back on the road tonight! They’ll play at Arkansas tonight at 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. The Gamecocks are coming off a road win over Florida, while the Razorbacks come off a loss at Alabama.

🔺 Five On It. Five Gamecocks landed on the 2025 Academic All-District Football Team! David Bucey, Nyck Harbor, Brady Hunt, William Joyce, and Mason Love earned the academic honors. The award recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

🔺 Hey, Ladies. South Carolina baseball will host its annual Ladies Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 24 from 9-11 a.m. at Founders Park! This free clinic will cover basic baseball skills with lunch provided afterwards. Click here to register today!
