🔺 National Notice. South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers added two national awards — Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week and Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week. It’s his second career selection for each honor, recognizing a five-touchdown performance at Florida.
🔺 Pro Gamecocks. Let’s take a look at how some of the Gamecocks in the NFL performed in week five:
Brandon Cisse (Green Bay Packers) recorded two solo tackles and a sack in the win over Chicago.
D.J. Wonnum (Detroit Lions) had two solo tackles, three quarterback hits, and two sacks in the win over Arizona.
Demetrius Knight (Cincinnati Bengals) had eight tackles, including five solo, in a win against Miami.
Ernest Jones (Seattle Seahawks) recorded nine tackles and a sack.
🔺 Ticket Punched.
