📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Cleared for Takeoff. Defensive back Vicari Swain is one of 18 players on the Jet Award midseason watch list, recognizing college football’s top return specialist. The senior is one of just three defensive players selected and averages 15.8 yards per punt return, good for third nationally among players with at least 10 attempts. His five career punt-return touchdowns already stand as a South Carolina record.

🔺 Going Strong. No. 6 South Carolina women’s soccer’s unbeaten streak is still going strong, even after a scoreless battle in College Station. The Gamecocks earned a 0-0 draw against Texas A&M behind six saves from Christina Tsaousis, extending their unbeaten run to 12 matches and recording their fifth consecutive shutout. South Carolina remains undefeated in SEC play as it heads to Austin for another conference test against Texas on Sunday.

🔺 Freshman First. Gamecock women’s golfer Amelia Harris is the SEC Women’s Golf Freshman of the Week, giving South Carolina something it had never accomplished before: different freshmen earning the award in consecutive weeks. Harris follows Yana Beeli after finishing tied for fifth at the Evie Odom Invitational. Her closing 68 moved her up 10 spots and helped secure the Gamecocks’ runner-up team finish.

🔺 Home-Court Opportunity. Women’s tennis is hosting the ITA Carolina Regionals through Tuesday, with free admission at the Carolina Tennis Center. There’s more than regional hardware at stake, the singles finalists and doubles champions earn places in November’s NCAA individual championships.

🔺 On The Road, Again. South Carolina volleyball closes its four-match road stretch at LSU tonight at 8 p.m., followed by Ole Miss on Sunday at 1 p.m. Tonight’s match streams on SEC Network+, while Sunday’s contest gets the SEC Network spotlight.
