Tailgate Talks: Alyssa Lang — She might be the queen of the SEC Network now, but she’s a Gamecock first and foremost! From USC’s J-School to the sidelines of the biggest venues in sports, Alyssa Lang has become a star in the broadcasting world. Amidst the madness of her fall schedule, she found time to join the tailgate to discuss her wild journey to the big stage.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Divine Diving. Gamecock diver Sophie Verzyl was named the SEC Diver of the Week! She earned four first-place finishes, two against No. 12 Georgia and two against Arkansas. This is her 10th SEC Diver accolade of her career.

🔺 Hall Of Fame Highlight. Former South Carolina All-American diver Brandon Hulko will be inducted into the South Carolina Association of Letterman’s Athletics Hall of Fame next week! He excelled both academically and athletically, earning multiple All-American honors and the Outstanding Exercise Science Student of the Year Award. Hulko, now Vice President of UnitedHealthcare, credits South Carolina’s support and high standards for his success.

🔺 Back On Road. The eighth-ranked women’s soccer team is headed to the Bluegrass State! They’ll play at Kentucky tonight at 7:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. The Gamecocks are coming off a 5-1 win over Texas and remain unbeaten in conference play.
