🔺 Here Comes The Boom. South Carolina football hits the road to face another crimson team this weekend. The Gamecocks play at Oklahoma tomorrow at 12:45 p.m. on SEC Network.

🏆 Nick Emmanwori has been named a quarterfinalist for the 2024 Lott IMPACT Trophy. The award goes to the student-athlete who exhibits Ronnie Lott's characteristics by making an IMPACT on and off the field. Emmanwori leads the Gamecocks with 38 tackles, including 26 solo.

🏆 Kyle Kennard has been named to the mid-season watch list for the Chuck Bednarik Award, which goes to the outstanding defensive player in college football. He also landed on the mid-season watch list for the Lombardi Award, going to college football’s most outstanding lineman. He leads the SEC with 7.5 sacks and ties for second in the nation with 11.5 tackles for loss.

🔺 Boot Scootin’. The women’s soccer team will host Alabama tonight at 7 p.m. Dust off your boots because it’s Mental Health Awareness and Country Night! Fans who wear green will get $3 admission. The first 100 students will receive free Ariat trucker hats! There will also be a Boot & Boot raffle with cowboy boots and Under Armour cleats. It’ll be a night full of fun at Stone Stadium!

🔺 All Split Up. The cross country team is splitting up this weekend as 19 runners compete at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa and seven runners race at the Upstate Invite in Spartanburg. The Crimson Classic will kick off today at 10:20 a.m., while the Upstate Invite will take place tomorrow at 9 a.m.

🔺 We’re Coming Home. The volleyball team returns home this weekend after a historic win in The Swamp. They’ll host Ole Miss tonight at 7 p.m. It’s the breast cancer awareness game, so wear pink! The first 500 fans will receive pink rally towels. On Sunday, the Gamecocks will host Oklahoma at 2 p.m. This game will be nationally televised on the SEC Network.

🔺 In The Polls. The women’s swimming & diving team came in at No. 17 in this week’s CSCAA National Rankings! They dominated Vanderbilt in a tri-meet last weekend, winning 249-45. Sophie Verzyl earned SEC Female Diver of the Week this week after sweeping the diving events last weekend.
