🔺 Brought The Madness. GarNET & Black Madness was a hit! Hayden Assemian won the Dunk Contest with a perfect score, even Waka agreed. Head coach Dawn Staley had to break out the moves! Lamont Paris gave Waka Flocka a Gamecock basketball jersey.

🔺 Preseason Pick. Gamecock women’s basketball senior Ta’Niya Latson was named First Team AP Preseason All-America! She will make her South Carolina and SEC debut this season after finishing last season as the nation’s leading scorer at Florida State.

🔺 On The Road, Again. The men’s soccer team continues its road trip tonight at No. 12 Marshall. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN+. The two teams have played each other every season since 2005.

🔺 Solid Showing. The South Carolina men’s tennis team competed at the ITA Regionals Championship, picking up seven doubles wins and six singles wins. Lucas da Silva reached the Round of 16 in singles, while Sean Daryabeigi and Max Stenzer advanced to the semifinals in doubles.

🏆 HALL OF FAME HIGHLIGHT

South Carolina native and Gamecock legend A’ja Wilson is being inducted into the Association of Lettermen’s Athletics Hall of Fame! Wilson, a four-time All-American and the program’s first unanimous National Player of the Year, led the Gamecocks to their first National Championship in 2017. After graduation, she has continued her success in the WNBA, winning four league MVP awards and Olympic gold with Team USA. She most recently won her third WNBA Championship with the Las Vegas Aces.
