Tailgate Talks. Known as one of the most electrifying players in Gamecock football history, the name "Ace" is synonymous with big plays and jaw-dropping punt returns. Stephen and Pat sit down with their former teammate to relive some of the loudest moments in Willy-B history and catch up with former do-it-all playmaker, Ace Sanders.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Put Our Dukes Up. The men’s soccer team took down James Madison 3-1 last night! William Nilsson, Ethan Ballek, and Jonah Biggar scored the Gamecock goals. Biggar’s first goal of the season, and final goal of the game, sent the South Carolina bench onto the field for a dogpile celebration. They’ll hit the road for back-to-back matches, starting Sunday.

🔺 Fourth-Place Finish. The third-ranked women’s golf team advanced to match play at the Stephens Cup on Tuesday. They moved on to play No. 15 Wake Forest in the third-place match yesterday. They fell to the Demon Deacons 4.5-0.5. Vairana Heck halved her match to put points on the board for the Gamecocks. The Gamecocks will return to the golf course in February.

🔺 Road To Rocky Top. The 22nd-ranked women’s soccer team returns to the pitch tonight! They hit the road to play at Tennessee tonight at 7 p.m. Fans can stream the match on SEC Network+. The Gamecocks are coming off a win over Alabama and a week where Katie Shea Collins earned SEC Freshman of the Week.

🔺 Trailblazing. There once was a time when South Carolina women’s basketball players weren’t household names or making every Final Four. Jocelyn Penn played for the Gamecocks from 1998-2003, leading them to their first-ever Elite Eight appearance. Her Gamecocks had back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in her final two seasons. She averaged 23.9 points per game and was a finalist for the Naismith Trophy. Penn will be inducted into the USC Association of Lettermen’s Athletics Hall of Fame next week.
