🔺 Nation On Notice. South Carolina’s Ta’Niya Latson is on the Ann Meyers Drysdale Shooting Guard of the Year Preseason Top 20 Watchlist for the fourth-straight season! Latson, a transfer from Florida State, led the nation in scoring last season with an average of 25.2 points per game.

🔺 Spooky Time. Gamecock volleyball hosts Auburn tonight at 7 p.m. on SEC Network+. It’s costume night and fans are encouraged to come in their Halloween costume (masks and props are prohibited). The first 150 fans in attendance will receive a Halloween-themed Gamecock volleyball shirt.

🔺 Faith, Family, & Competition. South Carolina women’s tennis freshman Jane Dunyon chose the program for its potential to help her reach the professional tour. She credits her success to her supportive family, especially her father, who has been her coach and mentor. Despite the challenges of adjusting to college life and being away from home, Dunyon is committed to her faith and determined to contribute to the team’s success.

🔺 Trading Uniforms. Former South Carolina women’s golfer Whitney Simons joined the U.S. Army after graduating in 2008. The four-time NGCA All-American Scholar used the military’s educational benefits to attend dental school and served as a dentist for several years. Now a civilian dentist in Lexington, South Carolina, she values her military experience and the diverse people she met.
