Season two is officially coming! The Gamecocks+ docuseries "Changing Expectations: Inside South Carolina Men’s Basketball" is coming back this winter to tell the story of the 2024-25 Gamecock Men's Basketball team with exclusive insight and access all season long.
Reigning SEC Coach of the Year Lamont Paris returns for his third season in Columbia with hopes to build on last year and lead his talented roster back to the NCAA Tournament again in 2025.
📈 STOCK UP
🔺 Triple-Digit Domination. The women’s basketball team played their final exhibition before the regular season starts, and they showed out. The Gamecocks defeated Clayton State 126-42 last night. MiLaysia Fulwiley led South Carolina with 24 points and added three assists and seven steals. Joyce Edwards, Tessa Johnson, Adhel Tac, and Te-Hina Paopao also scored double-digit points. Clayton State was out-rebounded 60-31.
South Carolina will start the season in Las Vegas on Monday when they play Michigan as part of the Naismith Hall of Fame Series.
🔺 Watch & Learn. Gamecock women’s basketball players are making watch lists everywhere. Te-Hina Paopao, MiLaysia Fulwiley, and Raven Johnson landed on the Naismith Trophy Watch List. Paopao and Johnson also made the Nancy Lieberman Award Watch List.
🔺 Hootie Comes Home. The Gamecock Club has partnered with longtime Gamecock supporter Darius Rucker to bring you Southern State of Mind: An Exclusive Night with Darius Rucker. The concert will be at the Township Auditorium in Columbia on December 6. Proceeds will support Gamecock NIL initiatives.
