Tailgate Talks: LaNorris Sellers - QB1 joins the Tailgate! LaNorris Sellers is up next on Tailgate Talks as the Gamecocks gear up for a prime-time date with top-10 Texas A&M under the lights at Willy-B. From the huddle to off-field hobbies, Pat and Stephen cover it all. Premiering today!

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Bigg Deal. Men’s soccer’s Jonah Biggar was named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week! He played 180 minutes in both of South Carolina’s wins last week. He earned an assist on the game-winning goal against James Madison. Against Old Dominion, he led the defensive backline that held them without a goal.

🔺 On Guard. Women’s basketball players continue to land on watch lists as we prepare for the regular season. MiLaysia Fulwiley and Bree Hall earned spots on the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award, recognizing the top shooting guard in DI women’s basketball. Fans can vote in each of the three rounds starting this Friday.

🔺 One More Time. The 14th-ranked women’s soccer team will wrap up the regular season tonight. They’ll host the SEC regular season champions, No. 2 Mississippi State, tonight at 7 p.m. Break out your Halloween costumes or all black for the blackout game! The first 250 fans will receive a free Ghosts in the Graveyard t-shirt.

🎥 Cruising with Coach Shelley Smith

🔺 Roosters vs. Wooster. The men’s basketball team takes the court for the first time tonight! They’ll host The College of Wooster for an exhibition game at 7 p.m. Admission is free for all fans. Coach Lamont Paris played at Wooster from 1992-96, earning team MVP honors, two All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors, and helped the team win two NCAC Championships. He even gave the keynote speech at their commencement ceremony in May!

The first 1,000 students will receive a free t-shirt. Free pizza will be available for the first 250 students. There will also be a variety of prizes and giveaways.
