📈 STOCK UP

🔺 The Best Carolina. Gamecock women’s basketball defeated North Carolina 91-82 in last night’s exhibition game at the Bad Boy Mowers Series in Atlanta. Ta’Niya Latson and Tessa Johnson scored 19 points each. Joyce Edwards, Madina Okot, and Maryam Dauda also scored in double figures. South Carolina will turn to the season opener on Monday against GCU.

🔺 Five On It. Five Gamecock women’s soccer players have been named All-SEC! Gracie Falla was named SEC Defender of the Year, landing on the All-SEC First Team. Katie Shea Collins joins Falla on the First Team after leading the Gamecocks with 10 goals this season. Taylor Bloom and Cuyler Zulauf earned Third Team honors. Mackenzie Johnson was named SEC All-Freshman.

🔺 Three’s A Crowd. Three Gamecocks have been named to the Jersey Mike’s Naismith Trophy Women’s College Player of the Year Watch List! Raven Johnson, Ta’Niya Latson, and Joyce Edwards combine to make South Carolina one of five teams with at least three players on the list.

🔺 On The Road, Again. Gamecock football will be back on the road this weekend! They’ll play at No. 7 Ole Miss tomorrow at 7 p.m. on ESPN. This is the fourth-straight top-15 opponent that South Carolina has played. Shane Beamer’s teams have historically played their best ball in November, posting a 13-4 record.

🔺 Chasing A Championship. The 20th-ranked Gamecock cross country team competes at the SEC Championship today at 10:53 a.m. This will be the first time that South Carolina has run a true 6K event this season. The Gamecocks look to improve on their best finish in program history when they took home fifth at the 1999 conference meet.

🔺 Spooky Soccer. The men’s soccer team will play at No. 20 Georgia Southern tonight on ESPN+! This is South Carolina’s final road match of the regular season. The Gamecocks lead the series 9-0-3.
