🔺 Five Set Fight. Down two sets to one? No problem for this comeback. South Carolina volleyball rallied past Arkansas in five sets on Sunday for its first SEC win, with Olivia Borgman delivering 18 kills and 11 digs. Ava Leahy added a career-high 11 blocks as the Gamecocks finished the job, 15-11, in the fifth set.

🔺 Midseason Form. Gamecock midfielder Alejandro Velazquez-Lopez has been named to the 2026 Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List. With five goals, 12 points and two game-winners, he has put himself in the conversation for college soccer’s highest individual honor.

🔺 Flying Freshman. No. 12 South Carolina cross country earned its third podium finish in as many races with a third-place showing at the Joe Piane Invite. Freshman Louise Bailly stole the show, becoming the third-fastest 5K runner in program history with a 16:03.42 finish. The Gamecocks also finished ahead of Clemson and Indiana in a loaded 20-team field featuring three top-12 programs.
