Tailgate Talks: Darian Stewart - A leader in one of Coach Spurrier's first recruiting classes at Carolina, Darian Stewart set the tone on and off the field for the Gamecocks during his time in Columbia. From the birth of Sandstorm in 2009 versus Ole Miss to his 10-year NFL career that produced a Super Bowl ring, D-Stew had quite the football journey. On this episode of Tailgate Talks, DiMarco and Garcia sit down with one of their favorite defensive teammates to look back at it all.

🔺 All Aboard. We won’t leave you hangin’, FAM. There will be three FAM Bus Trips this women’s basketball season in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Take the bus to Charlotte for the Ally Tipoff against NC State on November 10. FAMS can also travel on the bus to Clemson on November 20. The last bus opportunity is February 6 when the Gamecocks go to Georgia for SEC play.

🏀 Sania Feagin and Raven Johnson will join Coach Dawn Staley at the SEC Basketball Tipoff on October 16.

🔺 Talkin’ Season. It’s almost talkin’ season, basketball edition. The men’s basketball team will head to Birmingham, Alabama next Tuesday to talk shop. Collin Murray-Boyles and Nick Pringle will be alongside Coach Lamont Paris at the 2025 SEC Basketball Tipoff.
