Tailgate Talks: Melvin Ingram - One of the most athletic and versatile players to ever wear the "Block C," Melvin Ingram was an absolute force on the Gamecocks' defensive front. After a 12-year (and counting) NFL career, Ingram amassed 80 sacks between college and the pros. Now, fresh off his induction into the University of South Carolina Athletics Hall of Fame, he's joining us on Tailgate Talks to relive it all.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Team Win. The men’s basketball team picked up another solid win last night. They beat Towson 80-54. Collin Murray-Boyles led the game with 27 points, going 9-10 from the charity stripe. Jacobi Wright added 16 points and Nick Pringle added 15. The Gamecocks will hit the road to No. 16 Indiana on Saturday.

🔺 On The Road Again. Gamecock volleyball is back on the road as they travel to Baton Rouge. They’ll play at LSU tonight at 8 p.m. on SEC Network+. The Gamecocks look to beat the Tigers at their place for the first time since 2016.

🔺 Roger That. Gamecock long snapper Hunter Rogers was named a 2024 Patrick Mannelly Award semifinalist! The award goes to the nation’s top long snapper. He was also nominated for the 2024 Burlsworth Trophy last week.

🔺 Put ‘Em To Bed. Edge rusher Kyle Kennard has been named a semifinalist for the 30th Chuck Bednarik Award, honoring the nation’s Outstanding Defensive Player of the Year. He leads the SEC in sacks with 1.06 per game and tackles for loss with 1.5 per game.
