The Story: I'm Next — They waited their turn. Now it's their time. Josh Simon and O'Donnell Fortune had different paths to the starting lineup in Columbia, but the playmakers have become stars on either side of the ball for the Gamecocks. With a matchup against a new-look Vanderbilt team and big games still ahead, these two are ready to continue the climb.

🔺 Home, Sweet Home. The 23rd-ranked football team is back at Willy-B this weekend to take on No. 24 Missouri. Kickoff is set for 4:20 p.m. tomorrow on SEC Network. Student-athletes from the baseball team will be signing autographs at The Gamecock Club activation from 12:30-2 p.m. The Gamecock Walk will begin around 2:15 p.m. as the team heads to the stadium.

🔺 A New Season. The postseason is here for the women’s soccer team! The road to the College Cup starts at Stone Stadium today. The Gamecocks host East Carolina at 6 p.m. in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Gamecocks have been on a bit of a hot streak, advancing all the way to the SEC Tournament championship last week. Get your tickets now!

🔺 First Road Trip. The men’s basketball team hits the road for the first time this season. They’ll head to Assembly Hall to play No. 16 Indiana tomorrow at 3 p.m. on Peacock. The Gamecocks have not played at Indiana since 1973.

🔺 No Place Like Home. The women’s basketball team won their 60th straight home game last night! The Gamecocks beat Coppin State 92-60 in the home opener. MiLaysia Fulwiley scored 23 points, scoring four of South Carolina’s 10 three-pointers. Chloe Kitts recorded a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The Gamecocks will stay home to host East Carolina on Sunday at 2 p.m. on SEC Network+.
