📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Case Closed. The Real SC was decided on Saturday when No. 2 South Carolina beat No. 8 Southern California 69-52 in Los Angeles. Joyce Edwards led the Gamecocks with 17 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Raven Johnson and Tessa Johnson scored 14 points each. South Carolina is now 4-0 against the Trojans.

🔺 Ticket Punched. For the first time in program history, the Gamecocks are headed to the NCAA Cross Country Championship as a team! They finished runner-up at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Friday to earn an automatic bid. Salma Elbadra claimed the individual title, the program’s first individual win at the regional meet.

🔺 Fell Short. Gamecock football fell to No. 3 Texas A&M 31-30 as the Aggies came back from a 27-point deficit. The Gamecock defense picked off Marcel Reid twice and recovered a fumble for a score in the first half. LaNorris Sellers threw for 246 yards with two touchdowns. South Carolina will host Coastal Carolina on Saturday.

🔺 That’s A Wrap. The women’s soccer season came to an end on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Gamecocks fell to No. 7-seeded Wake Forest 2-1. South Carolina closes the season with a 10-5-5 record, reaching as high as No. 8 in the country.

✍️ SIGNING NEWS

South Carolina men’s basketball signed Marcus Johnson, one of the top point guard prospects in the country. He’s the two-time Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year and the 2025 Ohio Mr. Basketball winner. He is the first cousin of current Gamecock Meechie Johnson.
