Gamecocks Access: THE Columbia - The Mayor's Cup is back where it belongs - in Columbia, South Carolina! It was a wild finish to a back-and-forth top-25 SEC matchup that had just about everything. The Gamecocks break the streak against Missouri and notch their third consecutive win over an AP-ranked opponent. Let's look back at all the highlights with Todd Ellis and Tommy Suggs.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 The Real Columbia. The real Columbia is in South Carolina. Gamecock football secured the Mayor’s Cup on Saturday, defeating No. 24 Missouri 34-30. The thrilling win came from a 15-yard touchdown pass to Rocket Sanders with 15 seconds left in the game. LaNorris Sellers had a career-high five touchdown passes and 353 yards. The Gamecocks have defeated AP-ranked opponents in three-straight weeks for the first time in program history.

🔺 History In The Making. The women’s soccer team defeated East Carolina 6-0 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament! Cat Barry made history, becoming the program record-holder for most career goals with 51. She scored two in the win, giving her 18 on the season — the most scored in a season. Katie Shea Collins completed a hat trick, scoring half of the night’s goals. Goalkeeper Taylor Fox scored her first goal of the season. They’ll play Minnesota in the second round of the tournament in Chapel Hill, North Carolina on Friday.

🔺 Another One. South Carolina women’s basketball extended their winning streak to 42 with a 95-44 win over East Carolina. Chloe Kitts scored 14 points and added seven rebounds to lead the team. Five Gamecocks scored in double figures in the win. All 12 players that hit the court scored. They’ll play at Clemson on Wednesday.

🔺 Forward Together. The men’s basketball team dropped their first road game of the season at No. 16 Indiana, falling 87-71. Morris Ugusuk led the Gamecocks with 18 points, including four three-balls. Nick Pringle recorded his first double-double in a Gamecock uniform with 14 points and 11 rebounds. South Carolina made seven three’s in the first half. They’ll return to the court on Thursday, hosting Mercer.
