🔺 Smooth Sailing. Gamecock football downed Coastal Carolina 51-7 on Senior Day! LaNorris Sellers ran for two and threw for two touchdowns, including a 75-yarder to his little brother Jayden on the game’s first snap. Jayden Sellers had four catches for 127 yards. The Gamecocks compiled 419 yards in the first half, holding Coastal Carolina to just 46 rushing yards. They’ll host Clemson on Saturday at noon.

🔺 Made A Point. The second-ranked women’s basketball team beat Queens 121-49. The 121 points are the most scored in Dawn Staley’s 18 seasons. Joyce Edwards scored 25 points, while Ta’Niya Latson scored 24. Madina Okot recorded a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Adele Tac added another with 11 points and 10 boards. South Carolina heads to Las Vegas for the Players Era Championship this week.

🔺 Buzzkill. The men’s basketball team fell to Northwestern 79-77 after a late rally. The Gamecocks went on a 9-0 run to tie the game at 75 with 1:44 to go. The Wildcats scored the game-winner with 0.8 seconds remaining to secure the win. Elijah Strong scored a season-high 16 points off the bench to lead the Gamecocks. Meechie Johnson led the team with five assists to go along with his 15 points. The Gamecocks will return to action on Black Friday.

🔺 Our House. The South Carolina women’s swim & dive team won the Gamecock Invitational with 1506.5 points, claiming eight individual event wins, three relay wins, two pool records, and a school record. The men finished third with 1055.5 points, securing five individual event wins, a relay win, and two pool records.

🔺 Historic Run. The South Carolina cross country team finished 15th at the NCAA Championship, their first team appearance in program history. Salma Elbadra earned All-American honors with a 28th-place finish, becoming the second Gamecock to achieve this distinction.

🔺 All-American Duo. Men’s tennis duo Sean Daryabeigi and Max Stenzer ended their fall postseason run with All-American honors in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Individual Doubles Championship. They earned the honors when they defeated North Carolina’s duo in the Round of 16.
