Adversity can mean something different for everyone. Seeing tragedy and disaster while growing up in Haiti, Junior Saint Juste’s childhood was marked by hardship. Through every setback, family was his rock, but soccer became his escape. Having to leave his family and country behind, Junior’s dream seemed out of reach — until a chance meeting with Coach Tony Annan changed his life forever.
📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Dashing Debut. The second-ranked Gamecock women’s basketball team downed Grand Canyon 94-54 to start the season. Ta’Niya Latson led South Carolina with 20 points in her Gamecock debut. Each of South Carolina’s starters finished with double-digit scoring. GCU head coach Winston Gandy and assistant Chloe Rice received their SEC Championship rings in the pregame ceremony for their time at South Carolina.

🔺 ’Tis The Season. Gamecock men’s basketball season tips off tonight! The Gamecocks will host North Carolina A&T at 7 p.m. on SEC Network+. The first 750 students will receive a free Cockpit t-shirt!

🔺 We Said Oui. South Carolina women’s basketball will open the 2026-27 season against Maryland in Paris, France, on Nov. 2, 2026, at Adidas Arena. The Oui Play event will also feature a game between North Carolina and Oklahoma.

🔺 Practice Makes Perfect. The South Carolina baseball team defeated Charlotte 18-6 in a 12-inning fall scrimmage on Sunday. The Gamecocks hit four home runs and used eight pitchers, with five having scoreless outings. Erik Parker led the Gamecocks as he went 4-for-5 with six RBI and three runs scored. They’ll travel to Riley Park, home of the Charleston Riverdogs, on Thursday to play College of Charleston. Click here to purchase tickets!

🔺 One More Time. Gamecock men’s soccer is back at home for the final match of the regular season. They’ll host No. 19 West Virginia tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
