Damiere Byrd was an absolute blur on a football field, but this week he's slowing down to talk about his playing days, his wild official visit, and his development into a 9-year NFL wide receiver.

🔺 Not Done Yet. South Carolina senior diver Sophie Verzyl, an SEC gold medalist, two-time SEC silver medalist, and three-time CSCAA Scholar All-American, is aiming for an NCAA title to close out her career. Verzyl trains over 20 hours a week, focusing on precision, detail, and mental preparation. She also competes internationally for Team USA and hopes to make the U.S. Olympic Team for the 2028 games in Los Angeles. Read more about her record-setting career!

🔺 Flat Out Great. Gamecock equestrian’s Natalie Jayne has been named the SEC Rider of the Month in Flat! She moved up to No. 2 in career Flat wins in South Carolina history in the Gamecocks’ final fall meet. She has won Flat 38 times.
