South Carolina Head Coach Shane Beamer met with members of the media on Friday to introduce new Offensive Coordinator Kendal Briles, Running Backs Coach Stan Drayton, and Offensive Line Coach Randy Clements.

🔺 Looking Ahead. South Carolina’s 2026 football schedule is here! The schedule includes nine SEC games, with five home and four away. Non-conference games feature Kent State, Towson, and a road game at Clemson. The season opens on Sept. 5 against Kent State and concludes on Nov. 28 with the Palmetto Bowl at Clemson.

🔺 Rockin’ Rookies. South Carolina punter Mason Love and kickoff specialist Max Kelley were named to the Coaches’ Freshman All-SEC team. Love ranked third in the SEC with a 45.1-yard punting average, while Kelley averaged 61.6 yards per kickoff with 17 touchbacks.

🔺 Career Night. The third-ranked women’s basketball team downed Penn State 95-55 yesterday. Joyce Edwards scored a career-high 29 points, adding four blocks. Ta’Niya Latson added 18 points, while Raven Johnson and Tessa Johnson scored 15 each. The Gamecocks powered through with just eight players. They’ll play at South Florida on Thursday.

🔺 Joined The Club. Gamecock men’s basketball downed The Citadel 71-55 on Saturday as Meechie Johnson joined the 1,000-career point club! He finished the night with 19 points, scoring 14 in the second half.
