He might've only been in Columbia for one season, but Nate Adkins left his mark in a big way. As every South Carolina fan knows, if you make plays in the Palmetto Bowl, you're etched in Gamecock history. Catch up with the 2022 "Clemson killer" and current Denver Bronco on the tailgate.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Challengers. Gamecock men’s basketball will host Virginia Tech tonight in the ACC/SEC Challenge! Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. on the SEC Network. The Gamecocks are coming off a 74-62 win over Charleston Southern, while the Hokies are coming off two straight losses. The first 1,200 students in attendance will receive a free t-shirt, and the first 500 will receive free pizza.

🔺 Spring Slate. The South Carolina women’s tennis team announced its 2026 spring schedule, featuring 11 home matches and two ITA tournaments. The season opens on Jan. 18 with a home doubleheader against Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina. The Gamecocks will then travel to Duke for the ITA Kickoff Weekend, with potential matchups against Florida Atlantic and a team to be determined.

🔺 Season Recap. The Gamecock cross country team set new standards with the most historic season in school history. They soared to as high as 15th nationally and second regionally in the rankings. They also finished 15th at the program’s first NCAA Championship meet in history. South Carolina finished the season with six podium finishes, the most in program history.
