Tailgate Talks: Shawn Elliott. Wrapping up his first season back at Carolina, Coach Shawn Elliott joins the tailgate to catch up with a couple of his former players from his first stint in Columbia. The guys discuss Elliott's coaching journey, reminisce on their time together, and look ahead to the future of Gamecock football.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Season Of Winning. The second-ranked women’s basketball team gifted Gamecock fans a win before the holidays! They defeated Charleston Southern 82-46 yesterday. Joyce Edwards scored 20 points and went a perfect 8-of-8 at the free throw line. The Gamecocks dominated the glass, grabbing 40 rebounds as Ashlyn Watkins led the way with eight. South Carolina will have 10 days off before playing Wofford on December 29.

🔺 Everybody Agrees. Gamecock edge rusher Kyle Kennard has been named a consensus All-American! He led the SEC in tackles for loss and sacks during the 2024 season and was named SEC Defensive Player of the Year and was the Nagurski Trophy winner.

🔺 Freebies. Gamecock fans around Columbia for the holidays are in luck! At men’s basketball games December 22 and December 30, plus women’s basketball on December 29, fans can enjoy free concessions! Each ticket grants a free hot dog, popcorn, regular fountain soda, and bottled water.

The men’s basketball team will host Radford on Sunday at 2 p.m.
