Black Magic: The Story of the 1984 Gamecocks - Part 4: Everlasting Resolution 

In the final act of Black Magic, the Gamecocks rally from a crushing loss to Navy and a 21-3 hole against Clemson to end the regular season on a high note. Part four of Black Magic wraps up the series with a peek at the years that followed, the untimely passing of Coach Joe Morrison, and a look at how that '84 season changed everything.

🔺 Made Waves. The third-ranked women’s basketball team overpowered Florida Gulf Coast 105-43 on the road. Joyce Edwards scored 29 points for her fourth-straight game with 25+. She added 10 rebounds for the double-double. Madina Okot also recorded a double-double with a career-high 27 points and 12 rebounds. The Gamecocks have won by at least 40 points in eight games this season.

🔺 Holiday Hoops. Gamecock men’s basketball will host SC State today at 4 p.m. on SEC Network+. Colonial Life Arena will offer free concessions! Fans can get one hot dog, popcorn, and one regular fountain soda or bottled water for each ticket they have. The promotion will end at the under 12-minute media timeout of the second half.
