🔺 Down To The Wire. Gamecock men’s basketball fell 86-83 to Virginia Tech in overtime in last night’s ACC/SEC Challenge. Meechie Johnson and Elijah Strong led the Gamecocks with 18 points each. Last night marked the first loss in the Lamont Paris era at South Carolina when the team scored 80 or more points. South Carolina will host Stetson on Saturday.
