🔺 From Downtown. The men’s basketball team defeated East Carolina 75-68 behind eight second-half three-pointers. Jamarii Thomas hit five of the Gamecocks’ 12 threes, finishing the game with a season-high 22 points. Collin Murray-Boyles scored 20 points with 10 rebounds for another double-double. He became the third player in program history with 10 or more makes from the floor and no misses. The Gamecocks will return to the court on Saturday, hosting USC Upstate.

🔺 Slammed The Door. The third-ranked women’s basketball team dominated No. 9 TCU, winning 85-52 on Sunday. Ashlyn Watkins recorded her third career dunk after stealing the ball and being chased down the court. MiLaysia Fulwiley scored 20 points to lead the Gamecocks. The win gives South Carolina two ranked wins in as many games.

🔺 Key Pieces. Two Gamecocks landed on the Reese’s Senior Bowl All-America Team — Kyle Kennard and Nick Emmanwori! Kennard also accepted an invitation to play in the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl. The pair, along with LaNorris Sellers, were named finalists for the 2024 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy. The award is regarded as “South Carolina’s Heisman,” going to the most exceptional college football player with ties to the state.

🔺 Nine Is Fine. The track & field team picked up nine wins at the Clemson Opener for the second-straight year! The women’s side secured seven of the nine wins. The men’s team turned in seven top 10 program marks in the 300m, 600m, and 1000m. They’ll be back in action for the Gamecock Opener in January.
