🔺 The Big 5-0-0. A top-10 road conference win is always nice. Doing so for a milestone win is even better.

That’s how the third-ranked South Carolina women’s hoops team spent their Saturday, earning head coach Dawn Staley her 500th career victory with a 79-72 defeat of #6 LSU.

🔺 Clean Sweepin’. The 16th-ranked Gamecock softball team enjoyed the comforts of home this past weekend, using a dominant performance in the circle to make it a clean sweep through the Carolina Classic, going 4-0 with wins over Louisville, two over Boston and one over Kennesaw State. South Carolina hurlers allowed just four runs in the four games.

🔺 Opening Act. The South Carolina baseball team opened its 2026 campaign with a series win over visiting Northern Kentucky. Gamecock hurlers struck out 38 hitters over the course of the three games, while limiting the Norse to 10 runs on the weekend. Offensively, Tyler Bak paced the attack with four hits and four RBIs in the series.

🔺 So Nice, We Did It Twice. For the second straight weekend, the Gamecock equestrian squad took down the top-ranked team in the country. This time, South Carolina did so in dominant fashion, steamrolling #1 Georgia, 16-3, on Saturday afternoon.

🔺 Two-For-One Special. The 23rd-ranked South Carolina women’s tennis team showed lots of love on Valentine’s Day, securing a doubleheader sweep of Charlotte (4-0) and South Carolina State (5-0). The Gamecocks are now 7-1 this spring and have won four straight.
