🔺 Kings Of Carolina. Gamecock baseball defeated Queens 7-2 for their fifth-straight win! South Carolina scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth to extend the lead. Nathan Hall went 4-for-5 with two runs scored, while Ethan Petry went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Ryder Garino earned the win in relief, striking out five.

🔺 Sticking Around. The sixth-ranked women’s basketball team is hosting Arkansas tonight at 7 p.m. on the SEC Network. Season ticket holders can go to the McGuire Club at 5:30 p.m. for Chalk Talk presented by Atkins Law. The Gamecocks have won the last nine meetings with the Razorbacks.

🔺 One Of The Best. Women’s basketball coach Dawn Staley was named to the Naismith Women’s College Coach of the Year Watch List! She has won the award for the last three seasons. This season, she became the second coach to ever lead her team to multiple 40-game win streaks.

🔺 Early Impact. Men’s golfer Marek Fleming has been named the SEC Freshman of the Week! He earned his second top-20 finish of the season at the Puerto Rico Classic. He and the No. 15 Gamecocks placed third in the event.

Women’s golfer Eila Galitsky was named the women’s SEC Freshman of the Week! She defeated the world No. 1 player to pick up her first collegiate win in just her second career start.
