Tailgate Talks - Christian Walker — He became a Gamecock legend in 2010, and now ranks among the top first basemen in the game of baseball 15 years later. Christian Walker, fresh off a new contract with the Houston Astros, has just about seen it all in his baseball career. As MLB Opening Day nears, Stephen and Pat take Christian back down memory lane, talk hitting mechanics, and share stories from college and the Bigs you won't want to miss.

🔺 Palmetto Pride. The Palmetto Series, presented by the South Carolina Education Lottery, will be played by the baseball teams in three different venues this weekend! They’ll play at No. 13 Clemson tonight at 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra. Tomorrow’s game will be played at Fluor Field in Greenville at 1:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. The series will wrap on Sunday at Founders Park at 5 p.m. on SEC Network+. The first 1,000 fans at Founders Park will receive a rally towel!

🔺 Kitts Gets It Done. The sixth-ranked women’s basketball team defeated Ole Miss 75-59 on the road. Chloe Kitts recorded the program’s first triple-double since 2021 with 16 points, 13 rebounds, and a career-high 10 assists. Sania Feagin also had a big night, scoring a career-high 22 points. They’ll host No. 15 Kentucky on Sunday at 2 p.m. on ESPN.

🔺 Duke It Out. The 19th-ranked softball team hits the road to No. 8 Duke for a three-game series this weekend! They’ll start the weekend tonight at 6 p.m., continue tomorrow at 1 p.m., and close out on Sunday at noon. All three games will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.

🔺 Defend CLA. The men’s basketball team is home this weekend as they host Arkansas tomorrow at 1 p.m. for Legends Weekend. South Carolina will welcome some Gamecock basketball legends to Colonial Life Arena. Fans at home can watch the game on SEC Network.
