🔺 All Out Effort. The third-ranked women’s basketball team downed Texas A&M 71-56 on the road last night! Joyce Edwards exploded in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 of her 28 points in the final stretch. She added 11 rebounds for a double-double. Tessa Johnson had her best first half yet, scoring 17 of her 19 points to start. She finished the night tying her career high with five 3s. South Carolina will host Mississippi State on Thursday.

🔺 Takin’ Over Texas. The men’s basketball team will play at Texas tonight at 7 p.m. on the SEC Network. The Longhorns are coming off a win over Oklahoma, while the Gamecocks look to bounce back from a loss to LSU.

🔺 Running Point. South Carolina women’s basketball senior Raven Johnson was named to the 2026 Nancy Lieberman Award Midseason Top 10, recognizing the top point guard in the country. She has been to three Final Fours, won a national championship, and seen a runner-up finish during her time on the court. Johnson leads the SEC in shooting percentage against ranked opponents. She is currently fifth in program history in career assists.

🔺 As Seen On TV. South Carolina softball will have 53 games broadcast in 2026, including 11 on national television and 36 on ESPN’s digital platforms. Six of the eight SEC weekend series will have at least one game on SEC Network or ESPN.
