Streaming Today: Tailgate Talks: Michael Roth - Get ready for a series of star-studded Gamecock baseball guests joining the tailgate! Stephen Garcia and Patrick DiMarco may have made their names on the gridiron, but they just happen to be classmates with some of the biggest names in South Carolina baseball history. Up first is a guy who toed the rubber under the brightest lights time and again: Michael Roth. Stay tuned for episodes with Christian Walker and Ray Tanner in the coming weeks!

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Making Progress. South Carolina received approval from state committees to proceed with the first phase of reimagining Williams-Brice Stadium. The project, led by internationally acclaimed firm Populous, will focus on the West Side with premium suites and club seats, enhancing the overall fan experience. Gamecock Athletics will share further details as the design process progresses.

🔺 New Place, New Face. There will be a new face behind the plate this baseball season after Cole Messina was drafted to the big leagues! Talmadge LeCroy is back behind the dish after spending the last two seasons at third base. Besides baseball, LeCroy has been known for his beard, but with a new position, he’s sporting a new look. He spent the summer playing catcher in the Cape Cod League to get back in the swing of things. Despite being a regular in the lineup, he still feels he has something to prove.

🔺 Springing Into Action. The third-ranked women’s golf team finished fourth at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge to start the spring season! Hannah Darling led the team as she tied for 13th. Sophia Burnett tied for 15th, while Louise Rydqvist placed 18th.

🔺 Hey Ladies. Join us on April 12th for the fifth annual Shane Beamer Ladies Day! The clinic will feature a behind-the-scenes look inside the Gamecock football program.
