🥎 GAMECOCKS UNTOLD

A state champion and all-state selection as a freshman in high school, Arianna Rodi was destined for big things on the diamond from a young age. Carolina's single-season home run queen has already left her mark in the Garnet & Black, but the success hasn't come without challenges. Now, alongside a coaching staff that's helped mold her into one of the top first basemen in the country, it's all eyes forward on making her senior year one to remember.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Job Well Done. The third-ranked women’s basketball team downed Mississippi State 88-45 last night. Joyce Edwards reached 1,000 career points, finishing the night with 21. Ayla McDowell made the most of her first start, scoring a career-high 16 points. The Gamecocks will host No. 19 Tennessee on Sunday at 3 p.m. on ABC.

🔺 On To The Next. The 12th-ranked softball team opened the season with an 8-4 loss to No. 19 Virginia Tech last night. The Gamecocks had the lead until the Hokies put up seven runs in the top of the sixth inning.

The Gamecocks will play Syracuse today at 3 p.m. Tomorrow, they’ll rematch Virginia Tech at 5:30 p.m. The weekend will conclude on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. against Binghamton, then they’ll play Winthrop. All of these games can be seen on SEC Network+.

🔺 Power Through. South Carolina sophomore Joyce Edwards was named to the 2026 Katrina McClain Award Midseason Top 10. Edwards is having an outstanding season, leading the team in scoring and contributing significantly in rebounding, assists, and blocks. Fans can participate in fan voting at hoophallawards.com.

🔺 Home Stretch. The 14th-ranked men’s tennis team will host three matches this weekend. They’ll take on Presbyterian at 10 a.m., followed by a matchup with South Carolina State at 2 p.m. The Gamecocks will conclude the weekend on Sunday at 1 p.m., taking on No. 20 Duke.

🔺 Carolina Classic. The track & field teams will host the Carolina Classic at the Carolina Indoor Track & Field Complex this weekend. The two-day meet is free to attend. The action will begin today at 4 p.m. with the triple jumps.

🔺 Home, Sweet Home. The Gamecock men’s basketball team is back at home this weekend! They’ll host Missouri tomorrow at 1 p.m. on the SEC Network. The Gamecocks are looking to bounce back from a road loss to Texas.
