🔺 Center Stage. South Carolina senior Madina Okot is a finalist for the 2026 Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Award. Okot ranks third nationally with 21 double-doubles and leads the SEC with 10.9 rebounds per game.
South Carolina sophomore Joyce Edwards is a finalist for the 2026 Katrina McClain Power Forward of the Year Award. Edwards, the leading scorer for the SEC Champion Gamecocks, ranks fourth in the SEC in scoring.
🔺 High Honors. Two Gamecocks received SEC Indoor Track & Field postseason honors! Alexis Brown was named Women’s Co-Newcomer Runner of the Year, while Jathiyah Muhammad earned Women’s Newcomer Field Athlete of the Year. The Gamecocks will compete at the NCAA Indoor Championship this weekend.
🔺 Weekend At Home. The 23rd-ranked softball team is back at home this weekend! They’ll host Boston College for three games, starting tonight at 6 p.m. The first 200 fans at tonight’s game will receive a cowboy hat. All three games will stream on SEC Network+.

🔺 A New Season Begins. SEC play begins this weekend for Gamecock baseball! They’ll play at No. 23 Florida for a three-game series. The series begins tonight at 6:30 p.m., and all three games will stream on SEC Network+.
🔺 Unsung Hero. Associate Athletics Director Diana Koval will receive the 2026 Mary Jo Haverbeck Award from the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. Koval has been instrumental in managing media relations for the Gamecocks’ women’s basketball program, contributing to the success under Coach Dawn Staley. Her dedication and expertise have been pivotal in elevating the program’s profile and fostering strong relationships with the media.

🔺 South Carolina’s Own. Former Gamecock quarterback Todd Ellis will be inducted into the South Carolina Football Hall of Fame! The “Voice of the Gamecocks” will be honored at the 13th Annual Enshrinement Ceremony this April.
