🔺 From The Top. South Carolina Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati highlights recent achievements in Gamecock Athletics in his letter to Gamecock fans. The women’s basketball team secured their fifth consecutive SEC title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. The track and field teams excelled at the NCAA Indoor Championships, with both teams finishing in the top 10 and winning multiple medals.

The beach volleyball team is having a successful season with a 13-3 record and is ranked 20th in the country. The football team is preparing for the 2026 season with new coaching additions and season ticket renewals are due by April 14.

🔺 Making Waves. Gamecock senior Sophie Verzyl was named the CSCAA Diver of the Year, becoming the first Gamecock to earn this honor. Verzyl won the 3-meter dive at the 2026 NCAA Championships, becoming the first Gamecock to win a national title in the event.

🔺 New Leader Alert. Men’s golfer Frankie Harris won the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate, his sixth career victory, setting a new record for most individual wins in South Carolina men’s golf history. The Gamecocks finished second as a team, trailing College of Charleston by six shots. The team will conclude the regular season at The Ford Collegiate before beginning postseason play at the SEC Championship.

🔺 In-State Showdown. No. 23 South Carolina softball hosts Clemson in the softball edition of the Palmetto Series Presented by the SC Education Lottery! First pitch is tonight at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network.

🔺 Student-Athletes. Three South Carolina women’s basketball players, Joyce Edwards, Ta’Niya Latson, and Madina Okot, earned Academic All-District status! The Gamecocks advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 and will face Oklahoma on Saturday.
