Tailgate Talks: Travian Robertson — It's an '07 recruiting class reunion on the tailgate this week as T-Rob - ah em - Coach T-Rob sits down with his former teammates. The guys share stories from their days in Bates West, chat about the keys to the success they had, and share why they think the current Gamecock football team is showing a lot of similarities.
📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Our State. The 10th-ranked Gamecocks shut out Clemson 6-0 last night! It was the first time in rivalry history that the Gamecocks shut out the Tigers. Arianna Rodi hit her 11th home run of the season, bringing home three runs. The Gamecocks will play at No. 3 LSU this weekend.

🔺 Took A Piece. The 18th-ranked men’s golf team came from 10 shots behind to tie for first at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate! They shot 18-under, their lowest round at Bulls Bay Golf Club in 19 years of the event. Frankie Harris earned runner-up honors as he tied his career low at 204 (-12). Zach Adams tied for third at the event.

🔺 Charlotte Shootout. Gamecock baseball fell to No. 21 North Carolina 13-8 at Truist Field last night. South Carolina tied the game 8-8 in the seventh inning, but the Tar Heels took off from there. Nathan Hall and Ethan Petry hit solo home runs to get the Gamecocks on the board. South Carolina will host No. 1 Tennessee this weekend.

🔺 Fearless Leader. Women’s basketball senior Te-Hina Paopao was named a finalist for the WBCA Coaches’ All-America team for the second consecutive season! Her leadership and court vision have been instrumental in the Gamecocks’ success, helping them secure the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Birmingham 1 Regional. She’s averaging 9.7 points per game, plus 10.5 against ranked opponents.

🔺 Making An Impact. Brad Capps, a 2004 University of South Carolina graduate, is donating to renovate the Gamecock baseball locker room! Capps, who owns two construction companies, will oversee the project, which will be completed after the 2025 season and named the Capps Family Locker Room. He has been a long-time fan and supporter of South Carolina baseball since his time as a student.
