Tailgate Talks: Travian Robertson — It's an '07 recruiting class reunion on the tailgate this week as T-Rob - ah em - Coach T-Rob sits down with his former teammates. The guys share stories from their days in Bates West, chat about the keys to the success they had, and share why they think the current Gamecock football team is showing a lot of similarities.

📈 STOCK UP

🔺 Takin’ Over Tampa. The Gamecocks are headed to the Final Four! South Carolina defeated No. 18 Maryland 71-67 on Friday to advance to the Elite Eight. They went on to beat No. 7 Duke 54-50 to book their fifth-straight trip to the Final Four. Chloe Kitts was named the Birmingham 2 MVP! Sania Feagin and MiLaysia Fulwiley joined her on the All-Tournament Team. The Gamecocks will find out their next opponent tonight after Texas plays TCU.

🔺 We Are The Champions. The equestrian team won the SEC Championship! They owned the No. 4 seed, but that didn’t matter. They downed No. 1 Auburn in the semifinals, 10-8. Then, they defeated third-seeded Texas A&M 11-8 to become the first ever four seed to win the championship. South Carolina swept all four MOPs and all four SEC All-Championship Team selections. The win marks the program’s third conference title.

🔺 Sunday Sweep. After dropping Friday’s game and dealing with some bad weather in Baton Rouge, the Gamecocks came out ready to roll on Sunday. The 10th-ranked softball team defeated No. 3 LSU twice on Sunday to secure the series win! South Carolina took game one 5-3 in extra innings as Sam Gress earned the complete game victory, striking out a season-high seven. They proceeded to win 4-1 in the second game of the day. Mya Flindt hit her first career home run in the sixth inning. The Gamecocks will host Wofford on Wednesday for Bark in the Park.

🔺 Upset Season. The 26th-ranked men’s tennis team earned its fourth upset win of the year! They defeated No. 12 Texas A&M 4-2 on Friday. The Gamecocks earned the doubles point with wins from the top two positions. On Sunday, the Gamecocks fell to No. 4 Texas, 4-0.

The 23rd-ranked women’s tennis team picked up two road wins. They defeated No. 66 Mississippi State 4-2 on Friday after climbing back from losing the doubles point. They went on to beat No. 32 Alabama 4-1 on Sunday.
