Tailgate Talks - Christian Walker — He became a Gamecock legend in 2010, and now ranks among the top first basemen in the game of baseball 15 years later. Christian Walker, fresh off a new contract with the Houston Astros, has just about seen it all in his baseball career. 🔺 Yeah, Chlo. Women’s basketball’s Chloe Kitts was named the SEC Co-Player of the Week! She averaged a double-double with 14 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. She recorded a triple-double at Ole Miss to open the week and a double-double to close.

🔺 Brought The Boom. Softball’s Arianna Rodi has been named the SEC Co-Player of the Week! She batted .615 with 12 RBIs through four games last week. She hit four home runs and two doubles. She is currently on a six-game hitting streak.

🔺 Upset Season. The women’s tennis team upset No. 6 Auburn 4-2 in a thrilling Sunday match! Auburn took the doubles point, but four Gamecocks won their singles matches to get the win. They move to a perfect 2-0 in SEC play. The win was head coach Kevin Epley’s 200th with the Gamecocks!

🔺 Back In Action. Carolina baseball will host Davidson tonight at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+. Davidson is coming off a series win over Lafayette, while the Gamecocks look to bounce back after losing to No. 13 Clemson.

🔺 For The Seniors. The men’s basketball team will host Georgia tonight at 6 p.m. It’s the final game of the season at Colonial Life Arena and it’s Senior Night! The first 2,000 fans will receive a free rally towel, plus the first 750 students will receive a free t-shirt.
