🔺 From The Top. South Carolina Athletics Director Jeremiah Donati shared updates on various Gamecock Athletics programs. The women’s basketball team had an impressive season, reaching the championship game for the third time in four years. The equestrian team won the SEC Championship, and the volleyball team welcomed a new coach, Sarah Rumely Noble. Click here to read more From The Desk of Jeremiah Donati.

🔺 Not Enough. Gamecock baseball went into extra innings for the second time this season before falling at Texas A&M, 8-7. Ethan Petry hit his 54th home run of his career. Jase Woita tied the game with an RBI single in the eighth inning. The series will continue in College Station tonight at 7 p.m. on SEC Network+.

🔺 Road Test. The 10th-ranked softball team will hit the road for a top-15 matchup! They’ll spend the weekend at No. 12 Arkansas for a three-game series. The fun gets started tonight at 6 p.m. on SEC Network+. Tomorrow’s 8 p.m. game will air on the SEC Network.

🔺 She’s Got Game. Women’s golfer Eila Galitsky was named the SEC Freshman of the Week! She tied for fourth at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur last weekend. Her final round 66 (-6) tied for the lowest final round in tournament history at August National.

🔺 Callin’ Baton Rouge. The beach volleyball team is headed to LSU for the Battle on the Bayou. The Gamecocks will not face the Tigers in the two-day tournament. They’ll play Stephen F. Austin and Tulane today, and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Houston Christian tomorrow. You can watch the action on VBTV.
